By design, during the summer months while school is out and the security of routines vanish, iCan House programs remain a consistent, stable, and reliable resource for neurodiverse individuals and their families and we need your help to maintain this constancy.

Our families, board of directors and staff are grateful for your support. Half of our budget is dependent on donations of individuals, businesses, and foundations. As fundraising has changed, and in lieu of our annual iCan Do Lunch event, we are excited to initiate our first seasonal campaign, THE SUMMER FIFTY to raise $50,000 for scholarships and programs to help continue to be that stabilizing force in our members lives.

As we slowly return to in person gatherings, there is a palpable brightness and relief on the faces of participants in the company of their friends. For those who are virtual, they log-in and share in the conversations and games from afar. Like so many families and businesses, we’ve had to pivot and take on the ever-changing real World challenges as opportunities to reshape our programs to better meet our members where they are.
We learned that our programs are an essential need not being met elsewhere.
We are providing hybrid learning in all programs blending the experience for both in-person and those who are unable to attend in person.
We are providing virtual social skills groups to expand our ability to welcome individuals from across NC and beyond..

“Finally, I feel alive again!”

upon returning to in-person sessions

To meet these new realities, we launched a few new initiatives!

INDEPENDENCE IN THE REAL WORLD: A program designed for young adults to learn skills through which they can rely more on themselves and less on parents, guardians, and the government agencies. The learning comes with the experience of making new friends and continuing to enhance their social skills.
LET’S TALK NEURODIVERSITY A program specifically designed to help parents express their needs and concerns and receive insights from others. Next event July 8th

At this critical point in our growth and place in the World, we need YOU and your support to continue our programs and scholarships. A donation in any amount will help us to reach our goal and ensure the continued success of our programs for children, teens and adults.

Your donation makes a real difference in the lives of our members. A monthly or a one-time donation today will help so much.

You can also make a donation of securities through a stock gift. And, if you are 70.5 or older, a donation to iCan House qualifies for your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).

Your gift will help transform lives and
I am grateful to have you in our iCan House family.

With heartfelt thanks,
